Delete Your Account

You can delete your Cashy Stars account and its data at any time. Deletion is immediate and does not require our approval.

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open the Cashy Stars app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (the gear icon).
3. Tap Account → Delete account.
4. Confirm that you understand deletion is permanent, then tap Delete my account.

Your account is closed and you are signed out immediately. You will not be able to sign in to that account again, and your coin balance is forfeited.

If you cannot open the app

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us from the address linked to your account at info@cashystars.app with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify it is your account and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile — Google account details (email, name, profile picture, Google identifier).
• Your gameplay data — quiz answers, scores, coin balance, spins, ads watched, referral code.
• Your device and notification data.
• Your support chat messages.

What we must keep, and why

If you have ever had a reward request approved or paid out, we are legally required to keep the records of that payout — including the associated account and PayPal/recipient details — to comply with Swedish bookkeeping and tax law (Skatteverket / Bokföringslagen). In that case:

• Your account is closed and you can no longer sign in or use it.
• Only the records needed for accounting and tax purposes are retained.
• These records are kept for the period required by Swedish law (up to 7 years), then deleted.

If you have never had a reward approved or paid, nothing is retained and your data is erased in full.

Re-registering

Because Cashy Stars pays real-world rewards, a deleted account cannot be re-opened, and the same Google account, email, or device may not be used to create a new account after deletion. This keeps rewards fair for honest users.
